- First of all, you need to open the device manager. To do that, you need to open the run box and type devmgmt.msc command. Now press the ok button.
- Once you will see the device manager window, you need to click on the Sound, video and game controller.
- Right-click on the sound driver and then click on the uninstall device button.
- Now click on the uninstall button.
- Just like that, if you have any other audio drivers installed in your device, you need to uninstall them by following the same procedure.
- Finally, restart your computer.
Once you will restart your computer. It will start working fine.

- Ensure the volume is not muted or set to the lowest level.
- Click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and adjust the volume slider.
- Check if the correct audio output device is selected.
- Right-click the speaker icon → Select “Sound Settings” → Under “Output”, ensure the correct device (like “Speakers” or “Headphones”) is selected.

Test the sound by playing an audio or video file.

- Open Device Manager
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
- Right-click on your audio device (e.g., Realtek Audio) and choose Update driver.
- Select Search automatically for drivers to update.
- If updating doesn’t work, select Uninstall device, restart your laptop, and let Windows reinstall the driver automatically.

- Press Windows + R >> type services.msc, and hit Enter.
- Look for the Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder in the list.
- Right-click on each service and select Restart.
- Double-click each service, set the Startup type to Automatic, and click Apply.
- Close the Services window, restart your laptop, and check if the speakers start functioning.
