Recently, I changed the wireless password for my network. Now when I am trying to connect my Lenovo thinkpad t14, it shows me error"can't connect to this network". Even it doesn't give me a window to enter password.
Can you tell me how do I reset network settings. so I can connect with my network.
You can do it by forgetting the network. To do that, you need to follow the instructions below.
- Click on the WIFI icon presented in the taskbar.
- Now right click on the network name, and then click on the forget button.
- Let’s click on the network name again and then enter the password.
- It should now allow you to connect with the network.
In case, if windows is still causing trouble in connection. Please let me know.
If you want to reset the network settings on windows 11, you can easily do it from network & internet settings. Here is the process to do that.
- Click on the Start Menu and go to Settings.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Scroll down and click on Advanced network settings.
- Click on Network reset (located at the bottom of the page).
- Click Reset now and then confirm the action. This will remove and reinstall all network adapters, resetting any network-related settings to default.
- Restart your laptop.
After rebooting your laptop, you should try to connect with the wireless network. It will now allow you to connect with the wireless network.
I tried with this option but it didn’t worked for me. Is there any other way to do that?
Please make sure that you are typing the correct wifi password. Mostly, people enter the incorrect password that’s why they can’t connect their laptop to the wireless network.
It worked for me thanks, I was mistaking while typing the password after network reset. thanks all of you.
