Step 1- Take the back up of your AOL mail data – 

1. First of all, you need to open the AOL auth page on your computer.  (AOL >> Profile Picture >> Account info).
2. Press the “Privacy control” button. 
3. Now click on the “Manage your information”. 
4. Scroll down and click on the “Download my data”. 
5. Select all information like- mail, calendar and other data types. 
6. Enter the notification email and click on the “Request Download”. 
7. Finally, AOL mail will send you a notification, once it will be ready to download, you need to download it. 

Step 2 – Delete your AOL mail account permanently – 

• Open the AOL Auth Page site. 
• Click on the sign in button. 
• Now click on the “Continue delete my account”.
• Please enter your email account that you want to delete. 
• Finally, click on the “Yes! Delete this account”. 

Now the AOL mail account will be logged out from your browser. Now don’t login your account within 30 days. Otherwise your account termination process will be canceled.
