- Check Filters: Let’s Go to Gmail Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner) → See all settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses. Here, you need to review all filters. If a filter is archiving, deleting, or skipping emails. You need to edit or delete it.
- Disable Forwarding: sometimes, Google users can’t get new emails because of the forwarding settings. So if it is enabled on your account, you need to go ahead and disable it. To do that, you need to follow the instructions given below. In the Settings menu, navigate to Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Check if emails are being forwarded to another address. Disable forwarding if it’s not required.
Save any changes and test by sending an email. This ensures your emails land in your inbox instead of being redirected or skipped.

If the storage is full, you won’t receive new emails. Here’s how to fix it:- Check Storage: Log in to your Gmail account. Scroll to the bottom of the inbox page to check your storage usage.
- Free Up Space: if storage is full, you need to delete unnecessary emails, especially those with large attachments. Also, you need to empty the Trash and Spam folders to free up additional space.
- Verify Spam Folder: Also, Sometimes emails may land in the Spam folder. Check this folder and mark legitimate emails as “Not Spam”.
- After clearing storage and reviewing folders, test by sending an email to yourself to ensure Gmail is receiving emails properly.
