If you are unable to get sound from your lenovo laptop. you should make these changes.

    • First of all, you need to make sure that the sound is not muted on the laptop. if sound is muted, you need to unmute the sound.
    • Now raise the volume to the full level and then play something. let’s see can you hear something out from it or not
    • Sometimes, users are unable to get because of the default playback audio. so you need to go to the settings, and click on the system >> sound.
    • Let’s uninstall the sound driver and then reinstall the sound driver.

Generally, Lenovo laptops have no sound problem because of multiple reasons. Most of them are related to the audio settings and driver related issues. So here are the guide to troubleshoot those problem.

    • 1. First of all, you need to check that the audio is not muted on your laptop. To check that you can click on the sound icon. If there is a x or mute sign on the speaker. You need to unmute it by clicking on it.
    • 2. Now open the device manager, Here you need to click on the sound driver and game controller. In this section, you need to right click on the sound driver and press the update it.
    • 3. Let’s uninstall all audio drivers from your laptop and then reboot your pc. Once you will restart your computer. It will start working fine.

If none of these step works for you, you can factory reset your computer to the back date. When it was working fine.

I have a very simple solution to fix no audio problem on your laptop. You can apply it on your device.

    • First of all, you need to open the command prompt window.
    • Type ‘Rstrui.exe’ and press enter button.
    • Now you will be able to see system restore window, in this window, you need to click on the next button.
    • Now choose the restore point, when your computer was working fine and click on the next button.
    • Once you will see the finish button click on it.

After hitting the finish button, your computer will restore the windows settings to the previous date. When Audio was working fine.
Note- When you system restore your device. You may loose the windows update or app installed between during the time.

So many times, Sound doesn’t work because of the audio services problem. probably, the audio services are not responding or there is an issue with the windows settings.
In both scenerio, you need to restart the windows audio service. after that sound will start working fine on your device.

    • Verify Windows Audio Services
    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
    • Scroll down to find “Windows Audio” and “Windows Audio Endpoint Builder”.
    • Ensure both services are set to “Running”:
    • Right-click the service → Select “Start” or “Restart”.
    • Double-click the service → Set Startup Type to “Automatic”.
