My mom has a lenovo thinkpad laptop. it is an old model machine with windows 10 Home OS. Earlier, she was able to access the internet on this device by using the wireless cable. but since two days, she is not able to access the internet.
Whenever She clicks on the wireless icon. it says "No network" or "Not available". Meanwhile, My wifi router is on and my other devices are connected to it.

What could be the potential reason for such problem?

Hi It seems like the wifi is off on your device. so you need to turn it on from the windows settings. To enable the wireless settings, you need to make these changes.

  • Open the settings window on your laptop
  • Click on the network and internet option
  • Here, you need to click on the wifi. now turn on the wifi
  • Click on the wireless icon, now choose your internet connection and then click on the connect button

Once you will click on the connect button, your device will be connected to the wireless network.

When you face Wi-Fi issues on Lenovo laptop, you can troubleshoot it by following this guide.

  • Let’s Restart your laptop and your Wi-Fi router. This simple step often resolves connectivity issues.
  • Sometimes, Lenovo laptop users are dealing with the wireless problem due to the driver issues. So you need to go to the wireless settings. Here you need to update the connection.
  • If you are Unable to identify the wireless connection, you may run windows troubleshooting program. It will identify the wireless problem and troubleshoot the issue.
  • If none of these steps work for you, you need to reset the connection on your laptop. To do that, you need to click on the Settings >> Network & Internet >> Status. Now click on the Network reset button. Once you will reset the network connection, you need to update the connection.
  • After making these connections on your laptop, it will start working fine on your device.
