1. Check the Connection –

Whenever the Epson printer is not printing anything, you should check the connection between the computer & Printer. Most probably, the Printer is disconnected from the pc, and that’s why you can’t print from an Epson printer. At such point, you should see the Epson printer offline status on the pc.

2. Fix USB connection –

If you are using the USB printer. You should troubleshoot the connection by following the guide given below. 

  • Check The USB wire. It should be in working condition. 
  • Unplug the USB wire from the pc. Now connect it to a different slot. 
  • Now restart the Printer and computer once. 
  • Replace The USB wire. 

3. Fix Network Connection- 

If you are using the Network printer. Please check the connection status on the Epson printer. If it is disconnected? You need to connect the Epson printer to the WIFI. After that, follow the instructions below. 

  • Keep the Printer & computer connected through the same network. 
  • Make sure that the Printer is obtaining an IP address. 
  • If Epson printer wifi is not connecting to the wifi, you should reset the network settings. Now, set up the wireless connection again. 

4. Check The Ink Level –

You should check the ink level when the Epson printer is connected but not printing. If the Printer is running out of ink, you need to replace the ink cartridge. 

  1. Power off the Epson machine
  2. Open the print header. 
  3. Unlock the cartridge
  4. Now remove the cartridge
  5. Install the new cartridge
  6. Reboot the Printer

Once you reboot the Printer, it should recheck the ink status if the Epson printer is not detecting the new ink cartridge. You should take it out from the machine and now reinstall it. 

5. Set Up The Epson Printer As Default – 

Sometimes, Users can’t print from an Epson printer because of the incorrect property. Mostly, they are giving the print command to the wrong Printer.

That is not active anymore. So you need to go to the printer & scanner settings. Now select the Epson printer as your default machine. 

  • Open Run Window. 
  • Type Control in the box.

6. Reinstall the Printer Driver – 

If the Epson printer is not printing when ink is full. There might be a problem with the printer settings. So I will recommend you uninstall the current printer driver. 

  • Open The Control Panel
  • Type Appwiz.cpl and press the ok button. 
  • Select the Epson printer driver
  • Click on the Uninstall button. 
  • Now press the Yes button on the UAC window.

Now install a fresh driver. After that, you should add the Printer to the computer again. Now print something. 

7. Reset The Printer – 

Sometimes, a problem can be with the hardware. That’s why the Epson printer won’t print. So you should reset the Printer to the factory settings. After that, set up the again. Also, you should update the printer firmware. 

  1. Power on the Epson printer
  2. Click on the Menu
  3. Go to the Settings
  4. Select the Factory reset option. 
  5. Press the restore all settings to default option or factory reset printer settings option. 
  6. Press the ok button.
