How Do I Reset Samsung Tv? 

Generally, there are two ways to reset samsung tv. 1. Soft reset and 2. Hard reset. In this process,  I am going to talk about both processes, you can apply any one of them on your device. 

Method 1 – Soft Reset Tv- 

A soft reset is the first step. It’s quick and easy. This process will not erase your settings or apps.

  1. Turn Off Your TV: Use the remote to turn off the TV.
  2. Unplug the TV: Remove the power plug from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait 30 Seconds: This allows the TV to discharge completely.
  4. Plug the TV Back In: Reconnect the power cord to the outlet.
  5. Turn On the TV: Use the remote to turn it back on.

Now your tv will be refreshed, you may now open your favorite streaming app and start enjoying the shows.

Method 2 – Reset Tv Using Control Panel- 

If the soft reset didn’t work, try a factory reset. This will restore your TV to its original settings. 

But before doing this, you need to keep in mind, This process will erase all your settings and apps. Make sure to back up any important data.

  1. Access the Settings Menu: Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to the Settings icon (a gear).
  2. Select General: Scroll down and select the General option.
  3. Open Reset Option: Look for the Reset option and select it.
  4. Enter PIN: Enter your TV’s PIN. The default is usually 0000.
  5. Confirm Reset: Select Yes to confirm the reset.

The TV will now restart and return to its original settings. You may now configure your tv from the scratch. 

When Should You Reset Your Samsung Tv? 

You should reset the Tv in a few cases only like- 

  • Frequent Freezing: If your TV often freezes, a reset can help.
  • Connectivity Problems: Issues with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections.
  • Slow Performance: If your TV responds slowly to commands.
  • App Issues: If apps crash or don’t load properly.
