    Hi everyone,
I recently got a new Lenovo 3 Series laptop with Windows 11 Pro installed. I’m not familiar with the shortcuts to take a screenshot on this laptop.

Could someone guide me on how to do it? Are there any built-in tools or quick methods in Windows 11 for capturing screenshots?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Taking the screenshot on lenovo laptop is really simple. Specially, when you are using the windows 11, all you need to do is, simply open the screen that you want to capture. Now press windows + prtsc together. Your screenshot will be saved in the pictures folder.

Meanwhile, if you are using the windows 10 or other os. you can follow the instructions given below to capture the screen.

    • Now open the screen that you ca
    • Press the PrtSc key to capture the entire screen.
    • Open an image editing application like Paint or Word and press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot.
    • Save the image to your desired location.
    • If you only want to capture the active window, press Alt + PrtSc and follow the same steps to paste and save the screenshot.

For those using Windows 10 or 11, you can press Windows + PrtSc to automatically save the screenshot to the Screenshots folder in the Pictures directory.

Whenever you want to take a screenshot of some important information. I would suggest you to use windows snipping tool. this tool is really helpful in taking the screenshot of specific section.

For Windows 11, use the Snipping Tool shortcut by pressing Windows + Shift + S. This allows you to take rectangular, freeform, or full-screen screenshots.

    • Let’s Search for Snipping Tool in the Windows search bar and open it.
    • Click on New to start taking a screenshot.
    • Use your mouse to drag and select the area you want to capture.
    • The captured screenshot will appear in the Snipping Tool editor.
    • You can annotate, edit, and save the image by clicking on File > Save As.
