    My Yahoo mail account is not working on the outlook app. whenever I open the outlook app, it shows me send/ receive error and it keeps asking me to enter the new password. can you help me in creating the new password.

    If you are experiencing the send and receive error on the yahoo account while accessing it through outlook app. do not worry, this is a common issue and it can be resolved by following these guidelines.

    1. First of all, you need to check the internet connection, make sure that the internet is working,Ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network. Also, Restart your modem or router if the connection seems unstable.
    2. Incorrect account settings can block email communication between Yahoo and Outlook.Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings. Select your Yahoo account and click Change.Confirm these IMAP/SMTP settings:
      Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): imap.mail.yahoo.com (Port: 993, Encryption: SSL)
      Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Port: 465 or 587, Encryption: SSL/TLS).

    3. Re-enter your Yahoo app password if needed.
    4. If you have changed the password recently, you need to update the password. So go to the account settings and update the yahoo mail password.
    5. If you are still getting the same, you need to generate the app password. now update this password on the outlook app

    once you will make these changes, yahoo account will be synced on the outlook app without any error.
