Sometimes, audio devices are disabled in the system settings. Due to which, you see no audio output device installed error on your Lenovo thinkpad laptop. So you need to enabled the system settings.
- Right-click the Speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sound settings.
- Under Advanced, click More sound settings.
- In the Playback tab, right-click in the empty area and check Show Disabled Devices.
- If your audio device appears, right-click it and select Enable.
If this doesn’t work, check if recent Windows updates caused the issue. Roll back updates via Settings > Windows Update > Update history.
