Sometimes, BIOS update can leave your Lenovo laptop unresponsive. In this case, A power reset often resolves this issue. If you don’t know how to do that? Here are the guide to fix it.

  • Let’s make sure your laptop is off, there is no power signal or power light.
  • Disconnect your laptop from the charger and remove the battery (if possible).
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and charger, then try turning it on.

If this doesn’t work, check if the BIOS update was interrupted, as incomplete updates can corrupt the firmware. If so, try accessing the recovery mode:

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Press and hold the Novo button (small pinhole near the power button).
  • Select BIOS Setup or System Recovery from the menu.
