deleting the contacts from yahoo account is as simple as adding them on contact list. To do that, first of all, you need to go to the yahoo contact list.

Here you need to click on the contact detail that you want to delete. and then press the delete button. Here is how you can do it. 

• Let's sign into your yahoo mail account. 
• Now click on the contacts icon. This icon is available at the right corner of the mailbox. 
• Here you need to click on the contact that you want to delete. 
• Now click on the menu icon(three dotted) icon available in the top corner. 
• Finally, click on the Delete contact option. 
• Now you will see a popup window, you need to click on the ok button. 

That's it, you have now successfully deleted the contact details from your yahoo mail account. 

Yahoo has removed contact feature from the latest app. Currently, you will only be able to view mailbox. Also, you will be able to send and receive emails.

So you won’t be able to access the contact list on your yahoo mail android app.

However, if you want to delete the contacts through android phone, you can do it by using the mobile browser.

Just open the google chrome or another browser on your phone, and then log into your yahoo mail account. now you need to follow the instructions given below to delete the yahoo mail account.

1. Open the yahoo mail app.
2. Click on the side bar.
3. Now click on the contacts
4. Select the contact that you want to delete.
5. Press more contact
6. Now click on the delete contact
7. Finally, click on the ok

Can I delete multiple contacts in one time. because, i have more than 2000 useless contact. If I am going to delete them one by one from yahoo account. it is gonna take lots of time. Is there any smart way to do that. 

Unfortunetelty! there is no option to delete bulk contacts from yahoo mail account at once. so you have to do it manually. 

earlier, yahoo mail use to have an option to delete it manually. to do that, you have to go to the yahoo mail contact list, and select the contacts. after that you have to click on the delete contact button. 

But after 2024 update, yahoo have removed the select option. so you can not select multiple contacts at once. so if you want to remove the contacts from your list, you have to delete them one by one.
