If you’ve changed your router or Wi-Fi password, you’ll need to reconnect it to the wifi.

You can do that from WLAN Setup Wizard available on the printer’s control panel.

But keep in mind, most brother models don’t support 5GHz networks, so you should always try to connect it through 2.4 GHz.

If the signal is weak, move the printer closer to the router during setup.

Once connected, print a Network Configuration Page to confirm the correct SSID and IP address.

Here’s how you can do it step-by-step:

  1. Turn ON your brother printer.
  2. On the printer’s display, go to Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard.
  3. The printer will start searching for available Wi-Fi networks.
  4. Choose the wifi name.
  5. Enter your new Wi-Fi password.
  6. Press OK to confirm.

After a few seconds, your printer should display “Connected” or “Connection OK.”

It completely depends on the printer model because some printers has a touchscreen and some have a keypad.

So If you have a printer control panel, you can follow the instructions given below.

  1. Click on the Settings.
  2. Select network >> WLAN > Setup Wizard.
  3. Select the WIFI name.
  4. Now type your password.
  5. Press ok button.

In case, If your printer doesn’t have a display, you can try to connect it through brother printer software.

  2. Press the WIFI button.
  3. Now push the WPS button on the router.

Wait for 2 minutes, your printer will now connect to the wireless network.
