I have a brand new netgear AX3000 Dual-band WiFi 6 Mesh Extender, It worked fine for me for a day only. now it is showing me solid orange light. How do I get it fixed.
It seems like your range extender got disconnected from access point. That’s why it is showing the orange internet light.
So you need to make the following changes into your account.
- First of all, you need to reboot the router and extender. Wait for 1 minute. Once you will get solid lights. Let’s check the status on your extender. Are you getting blue light now or not.
- Let’s place the extender nearby the router. Maybe your extender is located far from the access point. That’s why it is dropping the connection. so, you need to place it near the router and then check the light on your extender.

Once you will make these changes into the netgear range extender. It will start working fine.

@kusum you should reset the range extender to the factory settings. After that, you should setup it again.
To factory reset the range extender, you need to follow the instructions given below.
- Power on the netgear router extender.
- Press & hold the reset button on your range extender for a minute and then release it.
- Once you will release the reset button on the range extender, you need to setup it again. it will start working fine on your device then.
Let’s try to print test report from your device to identify the issue. If the test page is also blank this could be a problem with the printer settings or hardware itself.
- From the printer menu, go to Settings > Printer Reports > Print Test Page.
- If the test page is also blank, the issue might be with the hardware or ink distribution.
Meanwhile, if the printer is printing test page properly. It means, there is a problem with the print preferences. So you need to correct the settings.
Also, you can reset the router.
