How Can I Factory Reset My Lenovo Laptop?

Now here are the steps to reset the Lenovo thinkpad laptop from windows settings.
If you can log in to your laptop and access the Windows operating system, follow these steps:

• Open Settings: Press Windows + I to open the Settings menu.
• Navigate to Recovery Options:

  Go to System → Recovery.
  Under Reset this PC, click Reset PC.

• Choose Reset Option:
• Keep my files: This will remove apps and settings but keep your personal files.
• Remove everything: This will erase all your files, apps, and settings for a clean start.
• Select Reinstallation Type:
• Cloud download: Downloads a fresh copy of Windows from the internet.
• Local reinstall: Uses existing system files to reinstall Windows.
• Confirm and Reset:
  Follow the on-screen instructions to start the reset process.
  Your laptop will restart multiple times during this process.

If your laptop came with the Lenovo OneKey Recovery feature, you can use it to perform a factory reset.

• Power Off the Laptop: Shut down your laptop completely.
• Press the Novo Button: Locate the Novo button (a small button usually next to the power button or on the side of the laptop).
• Access OneKey Recovery:
  1. Press the Novo button to enter the recovery menu.
  2. Select System Recovery or OneKey Recovery.
• Choose Factory Reset: Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your laptop to its original factory settings.
