Recently, I had cleaned up the tonner, header on my brother machine. After that, my printer is printing blank pages. Although, I have checked the printer screen there is no error on it.
Also, can you help me in fixing the problem?
First of all, you need to remove the toner cartridge. Now shake it and then install it. Also, you need to reboot the printer.
if this doesn't work, you need to reset the printer to the factory settings. now setup the printer again. it will start working fine.
If your Brother printer is printing blank pages after you’ve cleaned it, there are a few potential causes for this issue. Here's a troubleshooting guide to help you resolve it:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges or toner are not empty or near empty. Even if you've cleaned the printer, if the ink or toner has run out, the printer will print blank pages. Check the ink or toner levels on the printer's display or through the printer's software on your computer.
- Sometimes, the cartridges might not be properly seated in the printer after cleaning. Ensure that the ink cartridges or toner are correctly installed and firmly in place. If the toner cartridge is new, make sure you removed any protective seals or plastic before installation.
- If you're still getting blank pages after cleaning, the print head might be clogged. Even after cleaning, sometimes dried ink can remain on the print head. Try running a "Print Head Cleaning" cycle from the printer’s menu or software to ensure the print head is fully cleared.
- If the printer was recently cleaned, air might have entered the ink cartridges. If you’re using inkjet cartridges, gently shake them side to side to help restore ink flow.
- Make sure you are using the correct type of paper for your printer. Incorrect paper settings can also cause printing issues. Ensure the paper settings in the printer match the type and size of paper you're using.
- Sometimes, incorrect print settings or outdated drivers can cause issues. Make sure you’re using the correct printer driver for your operating system, and check for any software updates.
- Run a test page or diagnostic print from the printer's control panel. This will help you determine if the issue is with specific documents or a general printing issue.
- If you’re printing from a computer, try printing from a different device or application to see if the problem is specific to the document or the computer software.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, the print head could be seriously clogged or there might be another hardware malfunction, in which case contacting Brother support or a technician might be necessary.
