How do you troubleshoot printer that is not printing black ink. meanwhile, It print other colors without any trouble. about the ink status, Black ink is remaining enough to print more than 20 documents.

Usually, brother printer stop printing black ink when there is no ink. but in your case, It seems like this is a print head issue. So you need to clean up the printer head. after that, you may try to print something again it will start working fine.
- Open brother printer utility tool.
- Go to printing printing preferences.
- Click on the maintenance.
- Select Printhead clean up option.
- Now click on the Clean up.
Once your print head will be cleaned, you may try to print something again. it should be printing the documents now.

I had a similar issue with my brother machine about 2 months ago. It was due to the ink cartridge problem. The nozzle were clogged due to the dried ink. that's why it was not printing black.
So I would suggest you, first you should clean the print nozzle. it that's doesn't work you should replace the ink cartridge on your machine.
